Tamilnadu is the state in the South India. The capital of the state is Chennai. Tamil Nadu is home to many natural resources, grand Hindu temples of Dravidian architecture, hill stations, beach resorts,multi-religious pilgrimage sites.It is known as the 'temple state of India' and all across this magnificent state one will find a plethora of remarkable monuments, temples containing intricate carvings and humbling gateways. The famous cities are Chennai,Kanyakumari(Nagercoil), Ooty(Ootacamund) Hill Station, Rameshwaram, Kodaikanal Hill Station etc.
Kanchipuram is famous pilgrim destination and is also well known for its silk sarees. Mahabalipuram is a heritage centre consisting of prominent temples and monuments and is also infamous for its sunny beaches. Rameshwaram is popular place among pilgrims and is considered a holy place for devotees of lord Shiva.
